Final Moments

Time Line

It is only when you study the Facts about Titanic's Maiden Voyage, that you truly begin to realize what a short life she actually had. The first 4 days of the journey went without incident. The Passengers enjoyed the amenities that the Ship provided, the swimming Pool, the Gymnasium and the Library, were all put to good use. There was so much to do onboard a Ship of her size, it seemed that there was Time for everything.

It is interesting to note the final hours of Titanic, the numerous Ice Warnings she received from other Ships, a temperature drop of 10 degrees within the space of 3 hours, all of which, pointed the way to disaster.

On the subject of time, it is hard to acknowledge that all that she was, and all that she stood for, was lost in a little over Two and a Half Hours, from a collision that lasted a mere 10 seconds.
